Dear Friends of Essential Apothecary Alchemist,
Here we go heading off into winter. As our days darken and the air turns cold, I am reminded of ancient rituals that bring joy and hope into this austere season. I love gathering the green and fragrant evergreen branches for the house, putting pine, orange, clove, and cinnamon essential oils in my diffuser (all great antiviral and immune stimulating essences), and hanging lights on the house and barns. My daughter Jessie recently shared with me that she started a practice for herself, that I have also adopted, and I would like to share it with all of you. Each morning before I rise out of bed I put my hands over my heart and I express my gratitude for all of the loveliness I have in my life. I also take a moment of gratitude for the many challenges I have. I try to see my challenges resolved, and I appreciate the wisdom I have gained from persevering through the difficulties that life brings. I think one of the biggest challenges and rewards in life is to learn to love our perfectly imperfect selves. I hope you include the Beautiful You in your daily gratitude practices.
There seems to be plenty of challenges in our world today, plenty of things to be afraid of, and plenty of things to worry about. Trials make us stronger, joy and faith carry us through. I want to thank each of you for your love and support throughout the years. Most especially in the last few. The move to Idaho in 2018 has been good for us. I love so much having a place to grow the botanical ingredients we use for EAA here in Idaho.
This year, for the first time, I was able to distill the rose geranium and lavender hydrosols that we use in so many of our products. My partner Kim, who has been the maker of EAA products since my move to Idaho, that has been such a sweet and steady force for me, is letting go of EAA to follow other passions and dreams. Thank you Kim for your very powerful and faithful offerings over the years. You have been a treasure.
Essential Apothecary Alchemist is now officially an Idaho company. EAA will be manufactured in Idaho beginning in January. We have been in the process of restoring an old grain barn into a beautiful studio and kitchen for EAA. See images on my personal instagram account @huntermoon.homestead in my stories, The Bee House. I imagine you all having a sweet and special holiday season, taking time to rest and rejuvenate your spirits in this quiet season.
Please accept our gratitude and take 40% off of one EAA item through November 28th with code: GRATITUDE21.
As always my hope for all of you is that you BE your beauty, and let your one of a kind shine!!!
